I am the R&D Function Leader for the Systems Engineering & Assurance Directorate and a Team Leader at WSP, a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University and Imperial College London. I have a PhD in Complex Systems Safety and Human Factors. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and Imperial College. I have published two books on Project and Systems Safety, 18 peer reviewed papers to international journals and over 40 conference papers. I am a reviewer in 11 international journals and 3 conferences. I am Member of the Safety & Reliability Society National Council (UK) and Lead of the Early Careers Committee. I am an eternal researcher and a heretical mind exploring and promoting systems engineering and safety.
