The margin of victory was a lot less from their first meeting. The Sabres were missing starting guard Jeff Dunn, but managed to hold their own against the Volcanoes. Cory Largent with 31 points and sank a half court buzzer shot to close out the game. Other high scorers were Mike Taylor with 18, Sergio Rosario with 16, Joe Burton 14, Daniel Dean 11 and Anthony Sanchez with 10. Daniel Dean had 15 rebounds Joe Burton 14 and Cory Largent and Anthony Sanchez both had 9 each. The rest of the Sabres took up the slack against the Kitsap Admirals and controlled the game from start to finish. Mike Taylor led the way with 32, Daniel Deane 19, Daniel Dean 22, Sergio Rosario with 19, Joe Burton 18 and Kyle Long with 15. Joe Burton had 21 rebounds and Daniel Deane followed up with 11. The Salem Sabres will play the Vancouver Volcanoes May 17th and then host the Portland Chinooks on May 18th. Both games are at 7pm and played at Chemeketa Community College.
