PRESIDENT ELECT Dave Middleton IHSBCA Clinic returns to Cedar Rapids: This years clinic will return to Cedar Rapids at the Marriott Hotel, North Polk 1200 Collins Road NE, on January 18-19, 2019. You can make reservations by going to the IHSBCA website 2ND VICE PRESIDENT and clicking on the reservations tab at the top of the front page. We are very excited with our list of clinic Mike Botts speakers this year. On Friday afternoon, we will have Pat Murphy from the University of Alabama, Davenport University of Iowa Head Coach Rick Heller, Creighton Head Coach Ed Servais, and one more speaker TBA 3RD VICE PRESIDENT in the pitching area. Our coaches mini-clinics will conclude Friday'ssessions running from 4:55 to 6:50 pm. Ethan Miller On Saturday, we will have our annual IHSAA rules meeting and add these two additional speakers - Central Springs New York Yankee's minor league catching coach Tyson Blaser, Cleveland Indians minor league assistant Y NEWSLETTER Director of Player Development Justin Toole. We willcontinue to host the annual McDonalds/FCA Breakfast CHECK THE WEBSITE onSaturday morning starting at 7:30 am. Mike Botts is heading up the umpire side of the clinic. Our www.IowaHSBCA.net umpire sessions will follow the same time frame on both Friday and Saturday. Hope to see everyone! UAR Vendors will be allowed to start setting up their displays on Friday morning beginning at 9:00 am. The IN THIS ISSUE:: clinic sessions will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday, concluding - Message from the dugout - Committee Assignments at 3:45 pm. - Meeting time schedule - Clinic speaker schedule - HOF member list The Awards Banquet will be held at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday evening, beginning at 6:00 pm. We are again Y - FEBR Y - - Hall of Fame Inductees - All-District nominations looking forward to another outstanding weekend of baseball. With the clinic fast approaching, please check - Fall Board minutes to make sure your membership has been paid for the 2018-2019 season. The new membership calendar year AR - Clinic Registration Form started on September 1, 2018 and runs through August 31, 2019. If your mailing label does not say 2019 on it, JOIN THE ABCA & BCA your dues have not yet been paid for this year. If you have questions, please give Lee Toole a call. Schools Both are great organizations to be a part of. Get involved with high are reminded to take advantage of the school membership group rates.
