Congratulations on an awesome purchase! Our greatest hope with this set is that it serves as inspiration for your students. We want them to see great people celebrated for great things, but most of all we want for them to see themselves on the wall. To see that they can do great things no matter their skin color, gender, situation, or interests. Narrowing down the (very, very large) list was a long, difficult task. We researched, ______discussed, debated. We reached out to get feedback from diverse groups of people, including many ______teachers. We tried to balance the list with a mix of well-known and less-known names, and with people from the past as well as those who continue to contribute to our world. We hope that while you may not agree with every person chosen, your class will be inspired by these amazing people. Other Interesting Facts This is not the list, but a list. It’s a starting point and we hope you and your class will explore, have your own discussions, and add more people of your own choosing!

Psst! All of the information was correct at the time of printing. However, life goes on and things may change. Carson Dellosa will make every effort to make updates and corrections available in a timely manner.
