In 1911 Ada (45) was living at 8 Victoria Gardens, Notting Hill Gate, with her husband Charles Frederick (38) and her son Arthur Frederick (13). Her husband was listed as Chapel Keeper Congregational Chapel and Ada Assisting the same. ------

DEATH OF RYDE CENTENARIAN

Mrs. Ada BONE, of 31 Park Road, Ryde, first bride to be married at the old Park Road Baptist Church, Ryde, (now a furniture depositary) died on Saturday, some two months after celebrating her 100th birthday. Born at , Mrs. BONE (nee JOHNSTONE) was married in 1896 to Mr. Charles Frederick BONE, then gardener to the well-known CARTER family at East Upton, Ryde. In 1904 the couple moved to London where Mr. BONE worked as caretaker at Harbury Congregational Church, and 10 years later took up a similar occupation at Woolwich Baptist Tabernacle where his wife assisted him. The couple remained in Woolwich until Mr. BONE’s retirement in 1940, when they returned to Ryde. Their only son, Mr. Frederick Arthur BONE, die 25 years ago, and Mrs. BONE leaves a niece, Mrs. E. M. LOVEGROVE, with whom she lived, a grandson, Mr. Frederick BONE, of Stepney, a grand- daughter, Mrs. Sylvia CRISP, of Eltham, and five great-grandchildren. A lifelong Baptist, until 18 months ago Mrs. BONE regularly attended Ryde Baptist Church, and for many years used her ability as a rug maker to raise money at church functions. The funeral service on Tuesday was conducted by the Minister, the Rev. Arthur SYMONDS. Interment took place at Ryde Cemetery. Messrs.
