Campground Information

General Season Mid‐June to mid‐ Eldorado National Forest (depending on snowfall) October Pacific Ranger District Elevation 6,200 feet Location Operated by USFS 23 miles east of Placerville on Highway 50 and 24 miles Fee No north on Ice House Road (Forest Road 3) , 5 miles north on Reservations No Forest Road 33, 1.5 miles east on Forest Road 14N07, and 3 miles east on Forest Road 14N34. Interagency Passes Not applicable

Walk‐In Tent Sites # None The road going into the campground is rough. 4WD vehicles Double Unit # 7, 8 are recommended. 2WD pickups can make it provided they have ample ground clearance. Accessible Campsites None Because of the remote locaon of the campground, Picnic Sites No emergency medical aid is not readily available. A well‐ stocked first aid kit is a necessity. Group Sites No Single units are limited to 2 vehicle and 6 people per site. Piped Water No. Bring water. Keep family pets on a leash at all mes. Toilet Type Vault Use the grill or fire ring provided and make sure your fire is Accessible Toilets Yes dead out before leaving. Use only water, not soil.
