FIFTY-SIXTH DAY Hall of the House of Representatives, Columbus, Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 9:00 o'clock a.m. The House met pursuant to adjournment. The journal of yesterday was read and approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS The following bills were introduced: H. B. No. 244 - Representatives Hillyer, Ingram. Cosponsor: Representative Seitz. To amend section 4712.05 of the Revised Code to exempt certain contracts between a credit services organization and a buyer from the time limit to perform services. H. B. No. 245 - Representative Smith, T. Cosponsors: Representatives Lang, Cross. To amend section 5727.75 of the Revised Code to remove the current deadlines by which an owner or lessee of a qualified energy project must apply for a property tax exemption. H. B. No. 246 - Representative Vitale. To reform and modernize the Public Utilities Commission and the Consumers' Counsel. Said bills were considered the first time.

MOTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS Representative Boggs reported for the Rules and Reference committee recommending that the following resolutions be read by title only and approved: H. R. No. 138 - Representative Ghanbari Honoring Tara J. Barnhart on being named the 2018 Dispatcher of the Year by the OSHP. H. R. No. 139 - Representative Arndt Honoring Lucas Salmon as a 2019 Division II State Wrestling Champion.
