Condition of entries

All pure-bred arabian horses registered by the closing date to a WAHO recognised stud book may be accepted. All entries must be accompanied at the show by the registration document including a graphic description or a horse passport to check the identity of the horse, following the rules of blue-book 2017. Open to horses registered in any WAHO recognized studbook by the closing date of entries. will be accepted the horses which trace in every line of its pedigree to a horse born in Arabia desert or has been owned or breed by Abbas Pasha or Alì Pasha Sherifor used to create and mantain the breeding programm of Royal Agriculturale Society (RAS) Egyptian Agricultural Organization (EAO), excluding of Registan and Sharkasi and the lineal descendants. The organization may exclude horses that do not correspond to the current definition of straight egyptian, as described above.

Entries

All entries must be accompanied by a copy of the registration document or passport with genealogy of the horse. A horse passport is obbligatory for any international horse show in a country of the European Community. In the event of no passport having been issued by the National Organisation, an identification document with graphic description and a Registration Certificate must be provided.

Preliminary Classes

The horses entered will be divided into 6 categories:

The show office will order the horses according to their date of birth in ascending order from the youngest to the oldest. The categories thus obtained will be divided exactly in half to create two classes A and B.

Judging System for preliminary classes

The horses will be judged by a point method and evaluated as placed in walking or trotting. The judges appointed will judge each class independently follow this criteria: type, head&neck, body&armony, legs and movement based on the 20-points-system with half points.

Rule for ties

The higher place will be given to the horse with the most points for type. If there is still a tie, the higher place will be given to the horse with the most points in movement. Failing a decision on either of these, one judge chosen by ballot will name his preference (This applies to the places 1-5 of each class).

Rules for championships:

All the top five horses in each category will be part of TOP 10 and take part in the Championship. The horses will enter according to their bib number. They will be presented individually standing and trotting. The judges

will decide the winners of the medals without consulting each other. They award a score based on the following scheme

GOLD MEDAL 4 Punti-Points

SILVER MEDAL 2 Punti-Points

BRONZE MEDAL 1 Punto-Point

EX EQUO: 1) The winner will be the horse with the highest score in the Qualification Classes/type/moviment 2) A judge randomly selected will decide.

Rules for Special Awards:

The Best Italian Horse in the Show This prize will be awarded to the Best Italian Horse who will have obtained the higher score in the show - registered in the Italian Stud Book and belonging to an Italian Owner (Italian Nationality).

The Best European Horse in the Show This prize will be awarded to the Best European Horse who will have obtained the higher score in the show - registered in an European Stud Book and belonging to a European Owner (European Nationality).

The Most Beautiful Head in the Show The prize will be awarded to the horse who will have obtained the higher score for the head - special mark for each horse by all the judges on the mark sheet - in the show. In case of tie Rules for ties in Championships will be applied; - The higher place will be given to the horse with the highest total points in the qualifying classes. If there is still a tie, the rule for tie in qualifying classes will be applied- .

Drug testing Blue-book 2017:

All horses entering international events may be submitted to a test. All Champions will be immediately accompanied from their class to the veterinary box for a compulsory blood and/or urine test. The exhibitor or his representative will be present to sign the necessary documents. Random tests of any horse can be carried out by the DC veterinary at any time. The exhibitor or his representative will be present to sign the necessary documents. Any use of prohibited substances will be followed up by the S.D.C. of ECAHO and dealt with according to the rules Blue Book 2017 (rules of medication control).
