It has been emphasized plant diversity of the southern part of Volyn region is little-studied and needs further investigations. Key words: rare species, vascular plants, floristic finds, Volyn region.

The Regional Waste Management Plan in Volyn region by 2030 envisages a reduction in the total amount of landfilled waste from 97.68% to 30%, and the number of sites for their disposal up to 4-8 regional landfills per region. Ecological-economic mechanism of solid non-hazardous waste (SNHW) management is based on a harmonious combination of environmental constraints with the economic attractiveness of regional landfills and involves working with geographically defined objects based on the use of methods of processing geospatial information, one of which is mathematical-cartographic modeling. Thus, the main purpose of this work is to substantiate the possibilities of applying the method of mathematical-cartographic modeling in the design of the system of regional landfills of SNHW in the Volyn region. In order to address the issue of placement of SNHW management facilities, the territory of the region is divided into four management clusters. The division of the territory took into account the composition, properties, methods of solid waste collection, logistics, load on waste processing complexes, volumes of waste generated, spatial planning, etc.

CHAPTER 1 The Genesis of the Roma Emancipation CHAPTER 1 – The Genesis of the Roma Emancipation 1.1 The Austro-Hungarian Empire 1.1.1 The Gypsy Voivodina 1.1.1.1 János Kaldarás and Mihaly Szava Kaldarás János, ki magát Biharban, Szunyogd környékén ideiglenes cigany vajdának, társával, Szava Mihaly szunyogdi lakossal együtt egy folyamodványt nyújtottak a magyar 1.1 The Austro-Hungarian Empire kir. udv. kancelláriához, melyben egy cigány-vajdasag fölállitásaért esedeznek. ∵ Janos Kaldaras, located in Bihar [1], in the vicinity of Szunyogd [2], a temporary Gypsy Voivode, and his companion Sava Mihaly from Szunyogd, have applied to the [Hungarian] Royal Office for a Gypsy Voivodina [3] to be established [4]. There now remained only Gypsies who would call for their own autonomy [5]. Notes 1. Today, Bihor County in Romania. 2. Today, Suiug in Romania. 3. In Hungarian original, the term ‘Vajdasag’ has been used. It refers to term ‘Vajda’, which is the hungarianised form of the term ‘Voivode’. Today, the designation ‘vajda’ has become popular in the Romani language in Central Europe and it refers to the leader/representative of a certain Roma community. 4. ‘Vajdasag’ (Voivodina) here is used in the sense of a separate territorial-administrative unit. ‘Voivode’ (Voievod, Vojvoda, Wojewoda) is a Slavic term for a military commander in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe during the Middle Ages, or a governor of a territorial unit. 5. It means to say that all nationalities have already asked for their autonomies while the Gypsies have been the last.
