TENDER NOTICE E-tender notice for supply of “DIET AND NON – DIET ICDS FOOD ITEMS” 2020 - 2021 Department of Women and Child Development, Govt. of Puducherry invites e-tender for the supply of DIET AND NON – DIET ICDS FOOD ITEMS for children, pregnant women and lactating mother under ICDS scheme for the year 2020- 2021 (from April 2020 to March 2021) from the eligible Self Help Groups/DWCRA Units, Mahila Mandals, Village Community, Traders, Entreprises and Co-Operative institutions. The Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP) food items are to be delivered at Anganwadi Centers (AWC’s) of Puducherry and Karaikal Region or any other region in Union Territory of Puducherry. 2. SCOPE OF WORK Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD) invites single stage unconditional bids through e-tenders for supplying Diet and Non Diet ICDS Food Items viz., listed above from interested Self Help Groups / DWCRA Units, Mahila Mandals, Village Community, Traders, Entreprises and Co-Operative institutions. The interested bidders shall have to be enrolled / registered with portal of https://pudutenders.gov.in for participating in the bidding process. 2) If the dates mentioned above are declared as holidays, the tenders will be received and opened on the next working days. 3) Tender Form consisting of Terms & Conditions (Not transferable) can be downloaded from the websites https://pudutenders.gov.in at free of cost. 4) The tender form fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and the Earnest Money Deposit Amount of Rs.20,000/ (Rupees Twenty thousand only) should be transferred to the Settlement/Tender Account mentioned below, through electronically (Internet Banking or NEFT/RTGS mode). Only online payment and copies of documents will be accepted in physical mode. Door delivery should be made to all Anganwadi Centers (AWC’s) during working hours on all working days. On verification of the ICDS food supplements, shortage in quantity in the packing (before opening) and substandard quality in the supplied items, if any, is found the goods will be rejected and the same should be replaced by the good ones. 10) The supplies should be made from ready stock within a period of 7days from the date of receipt of indent from the officer concerned. The Supply should be made before a month i.e previous month of every month. 11) The rates should be quoted per kg inclusive of all taxes and expenses till unloading point at Anganwadi Centers (AWC’s), Puducherry and Karaikal region or any other region in Union Territory of Puducherry and the rates should be both in figures and words. Conditional tenders containing alternative proposals/rates are liable to be rejected. 12) The Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry reserves the rights to reject/accept any/all tenders with or without assigning any reason. 6. INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS (ITB) Instructions to Bidders for Online Tendering (e-Tendering) 1) Bidders mean all eligible and interested Self Help Groups/DWCRA Units, Mahila Mondals, and Village Community those who are registered under Companies / PSU’s Society Act and should be registered in the Registrar of Companies / Societies Act, Trades, Enterprises and Co-Operative institutions of Puducherry.
