30 Are you cheering on Myleene Klass on Dancing On Ice? I’m obviously watching Myleene and rooting for her, but I have to put most of my loyalties into Faye Brookes, who played my onscreen cousin in Coronation Street. I predicted she’ll win right from the start. I know what she’s capable of and how bloody strong she is. She trains hard and is a fantastic dancer and a wonderful performer.

Rather them on the ice than us… Oh, I know! No thank you – especially when they get that headbanger out!

Since Hear’Say, you’ve gone from acting to presenting. Is it nice to be doing such a variety of work? When I left Corrie I worked straight away doing bits and bobs. Then the work I was meant to do last year was all either cancelled or postponed. I was like, “I don’t know what I’m going to do now.” So to have been offered the jobs I’ve been offered, and be lucky enough to do them, has been wonderful. Obviously, I’ll always be an actress, but I’m really fortunate and pleased with the way things have gone.

What’s your dream acting role? I’d like to play the baddie and to have to shave my head or do something bizarre to get into the role.

Meanwhile, David, 45, and wife VICTORIA, 46, are reportedly celebrating a planning win at the palatial Cotswolds home they have been spending lockdown in. They now have the green light to build a wine cellar and the space to be created under their garage – capable of accommodating more than 7,000 bottles – is described as being bigger than the average UK home. Having founded the Scottish TFashion Awards, earned herself a CBE and fought off breast cancer – all while running a business and raising four children – we can’t help but be in awe of her. Tessa, 51, moved to Jersey five and a half years ago with her husband Sascha, 52, and their children Tessie, 23, Tallia, 22, Johnnie, 16, and Zac, 14. The straight-talking Scot may come across as a little frosty on the show, but we’re pleased to report that this grounded Glaswegian lass is no ice queen. When we catch up with Tessa on Zoom she’s warm, chatty and very apologetic for the flatness of her post-workout hair. “It hasn’t got its usual height,” she jokes. We think Tessa is looking fabulous, and so does her daughter, Tallia Storm, who joins her mum for the call. The singer and former Celebs Go Dating star couldn’t be happier that her mum is finally getting her time in the spotlight. “She’s been behind the scenes for so many years and I’ve always felt like people need to see all the amazing things she does,” Tallia gushes. “It’s been brilliant fun,” says Tessa when we ask her how she liked her first major television gig. “As a family we are 100% ourselves. We’re a bit dysfunctional, take the mick out of each other and are as real and honest as it gets.” That may be the case, but as we delve deeper into the lives of these two ladies it’s clear their stories are pretty extraordinary. Prince William, Elton John and Gemma Collins are but a few of the names dropped during our conversation, and Tessa and Tallia have fantastic tales to tell of them all. Here, we uncover those memories, talk all things Housewives and get to know the pair a little better.

Hi Tessa, hi Tallia! Let’s talk about The Real Housewives Of Jersey. How do you deal with all the drama? Tessa: To be honest, I just take it all in my stride. Throughout the show I always made sure I was authentically me. I never reacted in a way Tessa Hartmann wouldn’t normally behave. Sometimes that made me seem a little frosty, like when I turned down lunch with Kate Taylor, one of the other wives. Truth is, I’ve not done lunch in 25 years. I’m always working, so it would have been fake of me to take her up on that offer. ood trends such as Meat-free Mondays and Veganuary have risen in popularity – with the hashtag #vegan being used Fmore than 105 million times on Instagram at the most recent count. This January, more than a quarter of meals were meat-free – that’s 1.2 billion dishes*. It’s clear that we’re all more conscious about what we eat and the idea of meat and two veg for every meal has gone out of fashion along with jeggings. However, Glen Burrows, who co-founded The Ethical Butcher, believes that those decisions aren’t actually so heroic. In fact, he argues that going veggie or vegan can do more harm than good... ‘THEREAREKEYNUTRIENTS ANDVITAMINSWHICHARE SIMPLYMISSING’

“I was a vegetarian for 25 years but as soon as I introduced animal products back into my diet, my health dramatically improved. I was starting to suffer from some terrible brain fog, which is a symptom of high levels of systemic inflammation. I was always hungry and I developed huge patches of psoriasis. Montezuma and Tamarindo also have great surf scenes. For Insta-worthy beaches, try Manuel Antonio, where the white sands are fringed with mangroves and palm trees. A coral reef also makes it a prime spot for snorkelling, scuba diving and boat trips to spot dolphins and whales.
