325.000 inhabitants – hereof 55.000 students. It supports the city strategy for growth and expansion. Average age; 37,5. Culture & music attracts students DK’s second-biggest city. and educated work force.

University of Aarhus – top 100 in the world! Earlier research shows a significant “pay-back” to the city from concerts/events. Highly qualified work force in hi-tech industries, wind power, shipping, agriculture etc. Music is a part of the strategy for growth from new creative businesses. Important cultural city; leading museums, theaters, festivals, dance, film & TV – and; It’s an important part of the identity of a cultural city.

MUSIC! It’s a common denominator for the creative sector in the city.
