S;G Vol. Do they not produce or print anymore English copies or Steins;Gate: Volume 1 Edit 2: I can't even find a reason for it being so expensive, all I've noticed is I can barely find the original volume 1 anywhere. You may have to settle with that if you want a physical copy of volume 1 Steins;Gate: Volume 1 you don't wanna break your bank. Here's the link to some Ebay listings. Take this next thing I say with a grain of salt. The only thing I found that may point to it being so expensive came from Wikipedia and it states, "The first volume sold past the publisher's expectations, and was issued a reprint in February after selling out completely. Though I don't understand why Steins;Gate: Volume 1 would be the case when volume 2 and 3 are at a fair price and easily available just about everywhere. I'm gonna keep looking for answers cause I'm honestly baffled by this and the lack of coverage about it's high price and low availability. Edit: I'm even having trouble finding the original volume 1 manga in Japanese. Though I was able to find out Steins;Gate: Volume 1 because they released it from June to September Steins;Gate: Volume 1 numerous limited edition copies. Just found out a few minutes after I finished typing up that edit, that the English version was published from November to till April By that, I'm assuming they stopped printing copies of all volumes. That's just a guess though. Most things I've read say you could try checking your local or nearby comic book stores as they may have it. Other than that, I'm sorry to say you gotta dish out some dough if you want it fresh and new. Seller says the set has cat bite marks though. Note that I checked this out a whole week ago.
