Caves Slovakia’s underground treasure

Slovakia off ers its visitors the opportu- nity to see the beauty of unique works of art created by the most talented master of all – nature. Stunning exhibi- tion chambers adorned with mysterious and breathtaking decorative gems, to be found at the very spot they were created over thousands of years, under the sur- face of this picturesque landscape.

Only a few places in the world have such an exceptional number of diverse karst formations as Slovakia. Th ere are over 6,200 known caves here, of which 18 are publicly accessible. Th e best known and rarest of the caves are included in
