Netflix Teases 2022 Return of ' 4'

​Like so many other things, the return of 's popular supernatural series, Stranger Things, has been delayed due to the pandemic. On Friday, the streamer released a teaser for season four of the series confirming that it won't return until next year-two and a half years after the conclusion of season three.

The teaser, which first aired in NBC's coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, mostly consists of footage grabbed from the first three seasons, but it does offer quick glimpses into what's to come-particularly a scene of Jim Hopper (), who briefly seemed to be dead after the end of season three, but was revealed to be alive in the first trailer for season four, released on February 14, 2020.

More recently, Harbour can be seen as Red Guardian in Marvel's Black Widow, starring along with Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz.

A second trailer, released in May, hinted that 's Dr. Martin "Papa" Brenner-a sort of terrible foster father to Eleven () - would return in season four. Eleven, Are You Listening?

Meanwhile, the Stranger Things cast and crew has kept busy during the pandemic. Besides Harbour's star turn in Black Widow, Stranger Things director Shawn Levy's film , starring , just premiered in theaters this past weekend. That film also stars Stranger Things' Joe Keery and Killing Eve's Jodie Comer.
