    Stralcio dalle regole World Darts Federation Da: Norme applicative WDF 7.05 6. Durante il periodo di dodici mesi precedenti una gara in calendario WDF (Coppa del Mondo oppure Coppa Territoriale) un giocatore chiamato a parteciparvi dovrà aver giocato almeno il 65% delle proprie gare internazionali in eventi valevoli per il ranking WDF, nonché in Eventi internazionali promossi e organizzati da Organismi Aderenti alla World Darts Federation. Cioè: a titolo puramente esplicativo ma non esaustivo: Coppa delle 6 Nazioni, Baltic Cup, Celtic Cup, Nordic Cup, Coppa del Mediterraneo, Spring Cup. NOTA: questa regola non si applica a giocatori minorenni. PRECISAZIONE: Un Evento Internazionale è una gara a cui possono partecipare tesserati WDF di più di una nazione. Un evento Internazionale può essere promosso o organizzato da un Organismo Aderente WDF oppure da un Organismo non aderente alla WDF. Gli eventi riguardanti Freccette Elettroniche (soft darts) non contano, in quanto le freccette a punta in plastica sono da considerarsi un gioco, non uno sport riconosciuto. Non è obbligatorio che un giocatore partecipi ad eventi Internazionali per aver diritto di gareggiare in una Coppa del Mondo WDF oppure in una Coppa Territoriale WDF (ndr: Coppa Europa, Pacific Cup, ecc). Invece, i giocatori che partecipano ad eventi internazionali devono soddisfare il seguente requisito per poter giocare in una Coppa WDF: Durante i dodici mesi precedenti la data di calendario di una Coppa WDF, la WDF richiede che il giocatore abbia gareggiato percentualmente per almeno il 65% in eventi internazionali omologati dalla WDF (per esempio: eventi valevoli per il ranking WDF (*) ed eventi Internazionali organizzati da singoli Organismi Aderenti alla World Darts Federation [cioè a titolo esemplificativo, ma non esaustivo, eventi come: la Coppa 6 Nazioni, la Baltic Cup, la Celtic Cup, la Coppa del Mediterraneo, la Nordic Cup, la Spring Cup, ecc.]) rispetto ad eventi internazionali organizzati, omologati o promossi da Organismi non Aderenti alla WDF.
