Supported by the Town Council, the Harpenden in Bloom Working Party, which includes a number of community representatives, is responsible for ensuring the flowerbeds and hanging baskets in the town bring life to the Town Centre, its greens, Southdown and Batford. The Harpenden in Bloom Working Party hold planting days for the community to get involved, including the Brownies who plant and maintain their own flowerbed in the Town Centre.
