DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT TO BIRKENHEAD HOUSE

STREET ADDRESS: CNR 11TH STREET AND 7TH AVENUE, VOELKLIP, HERMANUS

1. From Cape Town airport follow the signs for . Keep on the N2 (±80km).

2. Turn left on at the sign “Hermanus 38km”.

3. After another hour drive on the R43, you’ll reach Hermanus.

4. You will reach the first round-about, continue straight through

5. You will pass through town, the road will curve sharply to the left, continue on this road

6. You will then reach a second round-about with The Marine Hotel on your right hand side, continue straight through the round-about

7. You will eventually reach a third round about, take the second exit towards Stanford

8. Continue on this road until you reach the first road turning to your right - 7th Avenue (turn off for Voelklip Beach)

9. Turn right and proceed to the end of the road. Birkenhead House will be on your right (Corner of 7th Avenue & 11th Street).

DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN AIRPORT TO BIRKENHEAD HOUSE – Scenic Route

1. From Cape Town airport follow the signs for N2 Somerset West. Keep on the N2

2. Continue on the N2 until you reach Sir Lowry’s Pass. Take a right turn to Gordon’s Bay.

3. Drive on the R44 towards Rooiels.

4. Continue on the R44 through the following towns: Rooiels, Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond.

5. Approx. 10km outside of Kleinmond you will reach the R43. Take a right towards Hermanus.

6. After another 20 min drive on the R43, you’ll reach Hermanus.

7. You will reach the first round-about, continue straight through

8. You will pass through town, the road will curve sharply to the left, continue on this road

9. You will then reach a second round-about with The Marine Hotel on your right hand side, continue straight through the round-about

10. You will eventually reach a third round about, take the second exit towards Stanford

11. Continue on this road until you reach the first road turning to your right - 7th Avenue (turn off for Voelklip Beach)

12. Turn right and proceed to the end of the road. Birkenhead House will be on your right. (Corner of 7th Avenue and 11th Street)
