A new Ma¯ori word will be highlighted each week for 50 weeks and schools, communities and organisations are encouraged to introduce and adopt it. Volunteer visit Lorraine Hooper from Volunteering Waikato will be guest speaker at the Arthritis Support Group Meeting tomorrow (10am, RSA). Ms Hooper is the Regional Co-ordinator and ensures community groups get volunteers they need to support their service and that volunteers are suitably matched to an organisation.
