During the event, GMR composers, Jeff Russo and Kris Bowers accompanied a 55-piece orchestra in performing select cues from their respective critically acclaimed series: Bridgerton, Oslo, Fargo, and Star Trek: Discovery. The Emmy award-winning composer and five-time nominee, Jeff Russo, led the 55-piece orchestra, conducting pieces from Star Trek: Discovery, Fargo, and the recently released HBO TV movie Oslo. For his work on Fargo, Russo was nominated in 2014, 2016, and 2017 in the category of “Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie, or Special,” winning the award in 2017.
