Florida Atlantic University Greek Life Community Report - Fall 2009 Greek Life Community Report Executive Summary In addition to our fraternities & sororities, this report is sent to stakeholders to inform them about the FAU fraternity & sorority community. On the reverse side is the statistical report for Fall 2009, last verified on January 20, 2010. Scholarship The FAU fraternity & sorority GPA is not above the FAU Undergraduate GPA (2.68 vs. 2.85) Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity & Delta Tau Delta achieved an Overall GPA above the Overall FAU undergraduate male GPA. Alpha Nu Omega Sorority achieved an Overall GPA above the Overall undergraduate female GPA. The average semester GPA for new member classes within the College Panhellenic community was 2.82. The average semester GPA for new member classes within the Interfraternity Council community was 2.22. The average semester GPA for new member classes within the Multicultural Greek Council community was 2.69. The average semester GPA for new member classes within the NPHC community was 2.64.

Service & Philanthropy The fraternity and sorority community increased the number of recorded community service hours 500% from the previous semester. The fraternity and sorority community increased the number of recorded philanthropy dollars 33% from the previous semester.

New Additions to our Community Alpha Delta Pi colonized in and chartered chapter of the College Panhellenic Association in the Fall of 2009.

Conduct Violations Sigma Phi Epsilon has been suspended until January 11, 2011 for violations of the Student Code of Conduct.
