WENONA SPORT Educating and empowering young women Sport

Physical activity is an important part of girls’ development. At Wenona, sport is fun, challenging and provides an opportunity for teamwork, and for girls to excel both individually and in groups.

All girls from to Year 10 have regular Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) classes following the NSW Syllabus.

We encourage girls to take part in sport beyond the classroom, to foster confidence and to embrace healthy activity as part of a well- rounded life. While extra-curricular sport is not compulsory at Wenona, over 85% of girls in the Senior and over 90% of girls in the Junior School participate in sport.
