Welcome could mean: welcome into our minds, thoughts, worlds, as I explore stream-of-consciousness thinking (and dancing), as well as vulnerability in performance. This piece developed from a process investigating improvisation and awareness, and is funded by the UNCC Faculty Research Grant.

Sedona Summer Colony Artist Residency, Sedona, AZ http://www.artistcommunities.org/news/sedona-summer-colony- launches-new-residency-artists-and-cultural-managers (Summer 2016) Completed an 8-day residency with collaborator JoHanna Mendl Shaw during which we carried out site-specific choreographic research; we chose three different sites, worked with two dancers and two videographers, and created three different studies. These studies will become a dance film.

2015 Silt Research-based: site-specific improvisational process in which the final product was a multimedia piece for the stage, including hanging strips of paper with projected media. I addressed a crossover between landscape and the moving body, questioning what vestiges of the outdoor landscape can still remain, and how do they change, once moved indoors to a traditional theater, and how are they manifest through movement?
