When Delilah Darling exceeds her magic number of twenty ex-lovers without finding “Mr. Right,” she sets out on a hilarious road trip to discover what went wrong. Originally published as 20 Times a Lady, Bosnak’s What’s Your Number? has got the number of chick lit romantic comedy fans who are looking for a sassy read with true wit as well as brains. This book was laugh-out-loud funny. And original and sometimes over-the-top. There were times I thought Id give it 4 stars but the warm feeling in my heart at the last page convinced me it was 5-star worthy!Delilah is determined not to sleep with more than 20 men in her lifetime, and so she goes on a cross-country adventure to track down all of her past lovers in the hope that she can rekindle a relationship with one of them that will lead to a life-time relationship and thus prevent her from adding another notch to her belt. The one for Delilah is pretty obvious from the beginning, but how she finds her way to him and the trouble she gets herself into during the journey is just so funny and original. I loved Delilah - thought she was hilarious and loving and someone I would totally like to get drunk with. And I wish there were more men like Colin - gorgeous, sex, funny, sweet - he was perfect and makes most of the men I know pale in comparison! My only complaints were as follows - Delilah is only 29 and lives in NYC. It is not at all unusual to be single at 29 in the Big Apple and so I thought the panic surrounding her being alone forever was a bit much. I also didnt like the footnotes - I was reading on a Kindle and by the time I got to the explanation of the footnotes, I forgot what they were for and had no desire to go back and check.Cant wait to see the movie! 20 Times a Lady: A Novel in Literature and Fiction pdf books 20 Times a Lady: A Novel Especially one covered in the bold, exotic rainbow colors dragons find irresistible - like her. I enjoyed the story and I liked the secondary characters even though they seemed a little cliché. Do you love stories that teach moral lessons to Lady:. I don't regret my education, but I DO harbor a strong feeling of dismay that so few of the books offered a hopeful or positive outlook that one could take with one with optimism on the road of life. There's new characters that will be seen more in future books. She goes through experiences that a lot of women struggle with (although maybe not tied into the same exact storyline). Starting from the barsoom times (which happens to Lady: my favorite work of his) and now to the Tarzan times (which are equally well written). The man she marries is novel a bit older than she is and he also is very time. That is until her husband finds himself under allegations that send Julia into an emotional downfall. Posted: Mon., Dec. 28, 2009, 8:00pm PT Adler, McCarthy engulfed in WWII 'Fog' Producers option sci-fi horror comicbook 'Night and Fog' By TATIANA SIEGEL Producers Gil Adler and Shane McCarthy have optioned the sci-fi horror comicbook "Night and Fog" from publisher Studio 407. No stranger to comicbook-based material, Adler has produced such graphic-based fare as "Constantine," "Superman Returns" and the upcoming Brandon Routh starrer "Dead of Night," which is based on the popular Italian title "Dylan Dog." This material is definitely in my strike zone in more ways than one," Adler said, noting his prior role as a producer of such horror projects as the "Tales From the Crypt" series. "But what really appealed to me wasn't so much the genre trappings but rather the characters that really drive this story." Set during WWII, story revolves around an infectious mist unleashed on a military base that transforms its victims into preternatural creatures of the night. But when the survivors try to kill them, they adapt and change into something even more horrific and unstoppable. Studio 407's Alex Leung will also serve as a producer on "Night and Fog." Adler and McCarthy are also teaming to produce an adaptation of "Havana Nocturne" along with Eric Eisner. They also recently optioned Ken Bruen's crime thriller "Tower." "Night and Fog" is available in comic shops in the single-issue format and digitally on iPhone through Comixology.

  • What's Your Number?

  • Utilizing Relationship Management Theory in the Film Industry to Maximize
Silver Screen Strategies: Utilizing Relationship Management Theory in the Film Industry to Maximize Revenue Opening Weekend Sarah Alamshaw Southern Utah University SILVER SCREEN 2 SILVER SCREEN 3 Abstract This research was conducted to determine whether or not film companies could make more opening weekend, based upon their implemented marketing campaign. To do so, the researcher used the public relations theory of Relationship Management. This theory is an up-and-coming theory that is not only gaining popularity within the scholarly realm, but it is becoming increasingly popular with marketing professionals as well. This study examined the film industry, Relationship Management Theory, and the five dimensions of Relationship Management (trust, openness, involvement, investment, and commitment.) A qualitative content analysis was conducted to determine whether certain themes were present and what strategies and tactics were more beneficial than others. Successful strategies included the use of multiple movie posters, at least 10 cast appearances, the use of at least four social media platforms, and at least two official movie trailers. Based on the findings, the researcher proved that the extension of Relationship Management Theory, Silver Screen Relations, could help enhance a film’s chance of earning more on opening weekend at the box office. Studying the film industry through Relationship Management provides a unique glimpse into an ever increasingly popular field. SILVER SCREEN 4 Acknowledgements There are many people that deserve much thanks and appreciation for assisting me with this thesis. First, I would like to thank my parents. Without their constant love and support, I would not have been as successful as I was in this program.

Dumb film; smart comedienne. Audiences take to Faris for many reasons. She's fearless. She has no vanity. She doesn't look like every other "pretty but funny" prototype in Hollywood. She can take a pratfall. She can seem simultaneously dim and bright, a beat behind the action while mysteriously a step ahead of it, which is how most of Anna Farris stars in "What's Your Number?" us feel at any given moment, but she knows how to get laughs with that combination.
