OS 110 0.7 Mile Millhouses Park & 1 Km Sheffield Huddersfield

Millhouses Park is a Municipal Park and the walk follows the narrow river which has a commuter railway running along side, and the park in summer has nice flower beds to view along with the park facilities of children’s play areas, new children’s water feature - boating lake, sports facilities and café.

 Facilities – Café – Cricket Ground – Children’s Activity Area – Children’s Water Feature - Skateboard Area – Boating Lake – Bowling Greens – Tennis Courts – Nearby Waggon & Horses Public House Their are 2 pay & display car parks at either end of the park.

 Café – There is a café open most of the year selling hot snacks, sandwiches, sweets etc. – and the Waggon & Horses pub is very close by.

 Toilets – There are toilets situated near the café.

 Path - The path is flat with a good tarmac surface and is suitable for all wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs. It is a short walk and there are plenty of benches around for a rest.
