Palabras clave: enfermedad terminal, duelo, actitudes, felicidad, voluntad, significado. abstract The following article is a psychological analysis of the film “The Bucket List” or “Ahead”, American film from 2007, directed by Rob Reiner and starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in the main roles, both Academy Award winning actors. Featuring the iconic music and lyrics by Academy Award, Tony and Emmy winning duo Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, this much-loved musical comedy is choreographed by Olivier Award-winning Drew McOnie with direction from Paul Kerryson. It’s Baltimore 1962, where Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, is on a mission to follow her dreams and dance her way onto national TV. Salvador Ruiz Professor Mary RHET 102 2/3/17 700 words The Power of Fake News “Morgan Freeman has died “peacefully” at the age of 78 after suffering a stroke while staying at the Ritz hotel in New York.”( Morgan Freeman 1). I remember reading this from the internet during my junior high year. The reaction it build up out of people was one to remember, and seeing how many people believed this fake news was even better. Better yet, seeing how people reacted to when they found out Morgan Freeman wasn’t dead was a better reaction than the rest. My purpose right now is to just show you how we can’t really rely on the internet for our news. For the fake news article, the data you can clearly see are images of Morgan Freeman around the page, and a somewhat legit police statement about his, “death”. This could be a potential warrant, and it kind of gives you that, “this seems real”, vibe. Not only that, you also get a quote from Academy Award winner, Jack Nicholson, who was one of his closest friends and has also played in one of his top films, “The Bucket List”. Here’s his comments about the news of his past friend, “no-one was like Morgan. For the rest of the world he was a guy we could all understand, empathize with and be enlightened by. We will all treasure his performances and remember him with fondness and enormous admiration.” ( Morgan Freeman 2). The more you start reading and getting into it, it finally settles in, “Maybe Morgan Freeman is dead, I mean it’s the internet.

PRODUCTION NOTES “This city, this whole country, is a strip club. You’ve got people tossing the money, and people doing the dance.” – Ramona Inspired by true events, HUSTLERS is a comedy-drama that follows a crew of savvy strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. At the start of 2007, Destiny (Constance Wu) is a young woman struggling to make ends meet, to provide for herself and her grandma. But it’s not easy: the managers, DJs, and bartenders expect a cut– one way or another – leaving Destiny with a meager payday after a long night of stripping. Her life is forever changed when she meets Ramona (Jennifer Lopez), the club’s top money earner, who’s always in control, has the clientele figured out, and really knows her way around a pole. The two women bond immediately, and Ramona gives Destiny a crash course in the various poses and pole moves like the carousel, fireman, front hook, ankle-hook, and stag. Another dancer, the irrepressible Diamond (Cardi B) provides a bawdy and revelatory class in the art of the lap dance. But Destiny’s most important lesson is that when you’re part of a broken system, you must hustle or be hustled. To that end, Ramona outlines for her the different tiers of the Wall Street clientele who freQuent the club. The two women find themselves succeeding beyond their wildest dreams, making more money than they can spend – until the September 2008 economic collapse. Wall Street stole from everyone and never suffered any consequences.
