In Astana on May 23rd - 24th, 2013 will be held the World Anti-Crisis Conference in conjunction with the VI Astana Economic Forum, dedicated to the challenges and prospects of world economic development in terms of global transformation.
The World Anti-Crisis Conference initiated by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will be held in cooperation with the UN. The Conference is expected to result in development of the World Anti-Crisis Plan for the UN based on the principles of democracy and taking into consideration the interests of all countries. The Conference will be devoted to the problems that the global financial system faces.
The sessions Conference will be focused on the following topics: - A decade of adjustment and unemployment in Euro zone: political and economic dimensions. - Assessment of monetary policies and their consequences for global financial stability. - Global capital markets in transition: shift from global to local.
Ministers of finance, economy and heads of central banks of the UN member states will take part in the Conference. Presently, representatives from about 70 countries and 10 biggest international organizations have confirmed their participiant in the event.
The number of delegates poised to take part in the Astana Economic Forum is expected to reach a record-high, topping 8,500 from 100 different countries. Leading speakers are to include current and former heads of state and governments, top executives of international corporations and associations, renowned economists and other experts including a number of Nobel laureates from around the world.
