Be it toilets, electricity, bank accounts, gas, education or healthcare, we have focused on providing basic amenities to the poor, disadvantaged and under-privileged sections of the society. The nation is marching ahead with contribution from all segments. The present is changing at unprecedented speed and scale and a 'New India' is shaping. Efforts of voluntary organisations and charitable institutions have played a role of force multiplier and given boost to Government's efforts towards all round and inclusive development. The collective efforts of all stakeholders are vital in moving from incremental progress to a high jump the nation aims for. The untiring efforts of Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) to identify, document and showcase the best practices in sustainable development are a step in the right direction.
