Thirty-five per cent of football fans stated that they plan to vote Conservative, while twenty per cent of fans in the survey plan to vote for Labour.

When asked who they would choose for the next PM in a list that included the main party leaders and well known characters from the worlds of showbiz and sport, almost one-in- three fans said they would choose as the next Prime Minister while was marginally ahead of Sir Alex Ferguson and Lord Alan Sugar as a fans’ favourite.
