UJA-Federation of New York’s Inside Our Grants is a comprehensive record of the funding we What We Do — and How We Do It allocated in the 2017 – 2018 fiscal year. The publication of this volume reflects our commitment to the highest degree of programmatic integrity and fiscal transparency. At UJA, we identify and meet the needs of New Yorkers and Jews everywhere. Our abiding mission The work of UJA is far larger than the grants we give. GRANTS BY ISSUE AREA We begin with a helpful overview and grantmaking highlights from individual funding bodies and include a full list of volunteer leaders and professional staff dedicated to our work. 2. GRANTS BY AGENCY — SUMMARY We summarize UJA-Federation funding to individual nonprofit partners or grantees. A chart reports the full funding amount that we’ve given any specific agency, including core operating dollars and any targeted grants. 3. GRANTS BY AGENCY — FULL LISTING We detail grants awarded to individual agencies, including a list of grants by name and the full funding amount.
