The PMI has teamed up with regular contributors People Deliver Projects for a special event on the important theme of Project Stakeholders and building Trust-Based Relationships . This serious personal development event, will be delivered in a fun and energetic format, with a mini ‘story’ played out by professional actors, playing a struggling project manager, Jack Alltrades. Jack battles to meet his customer needs, and finds his battles are not all external. Part of the challenge emerges from his friendly, powerful and sometimes difficult Sales Director, Bill Smiley. You will not be watching a ‘performance’ however. It is a learning workshop, built around the Smiley’s People story, where the audience get to learn new skills, and even control the action, AND so determine how Jack’s challenge unfolds!

STAKEHOLDERS...are often difficult, usually powerful, always important. Stakeholder mapping will be touched on, which is the easy bit. This session will go on to reveal how project managers go beyond stakeholder mapping, to ENGAGE their stakeholders, and so use their influence for maximum impact. It will also address how to conduct those difficult conversations that are inevitably the biggest part of the challenge.
