1.800.900.9021 5 November 2009 Echoes Hurry, time is running out! IRA direct rollover law set to expire December 31, 2009

For a very limited time, the U.S. government is giving its citizens a major tax break for direct rollover donations to charities from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s). This is a rare opportunity but time is running out.

What you need to know: • If you are over age 70 ½, you can make a direct rollover donation to Quiet Hour Ministries and pay no income tax on the withdrawal. • These tax-free gifts could be $500, $1,000, $5,000 or any amount up to $100,000. • This is perfect for a major gift or one of any size. • These tax-free gifts must be in the hands of Quiet Hour Ministries by December 31, 2009 to qualify as a tax-free withdrawal. • This may well be the best opportunity to put those IRA dollars to work for God. You can have the joy of seeing them lead people to Christ.

What to do? Quickly instruct your IRA Plan Administrator to make your IRA gift check to Quiet Hour Ministries and mail it to us. If you have questions, talk to your tax advisor or give us a call and one of our planned giving specialists can explain how the IRA direct rollover provision can benefit you.

Contact us at 800-900-9021. When you call be sure to ask why IRA assets left to family members are referred to as “tax cursed” assets. If you would like to avoid an expensive visit from the tax collector, we can help. Let us show you how to turn “tax cursed” assets into “tax blessed” assets!

RoLl up yOuR sleEves 13foR the gREAT adventurE! Indonesia | August 6-21, 2010

Indonesia comprises 17,508 islands, and with an estimated population of 237 million people, it is the world’s fourth most populous country, and has the largest Muslim population in the world. Islam is the predominant religion of the archipelago (group of islands), with minorities of Hindu, Buddhists, and animists. There are many places where spiritual energy is thought to be concentrated and it is believed that this energy can be absorbed by followers.

Quiet Hour Ministries is excited to be able to share the saving grace of a merciful God with those that come to the meetings. God’s love and His plan of salvation will begin with a small group in their city of Manado.

We are currently recruiting speakers, medical, dental, and eye teams to conduct daily clinics, as well as children’s program coordinators. We invite you to join us from August 6 to Manado 21, 2010. The life changed for eternity could be your own.

The main island of Cuba is surrounded by four other main groups of islands. Like its mixed population, Cuba has a mixture of religions making it very diverse in culture. Quiet Hour Ministries will be ministering in Cuba February 12-27, 2010. It will be the first time since 2002. Ten energetic lay teams will be working together with Pastor Bill Tucker in San Antonio de los Baños with evangelism meetings, medical and dental clinics, and Vacation Bible School programs for the children. The pastors and lay workers of the West Cuban Conference have started forming Havana small Bible study groups and going door-to-door to invite people to the meetings in their community.
