HRC closed for redevelopment from 31 July 2021 Veolia is working in partnership with City Council to redevelop the Perry Barr Household Recycling Centre (HRC) and Waste Transfer Station. The new site will have improved facilities available to the public that will enhance the user experience, increase recycling, and continue the processing of waste and recycling with minimal disruption to the environment and area.

The redevelopment is planned to be completed by Spring 2023.
