It is characterized by a large stability, a low freeboard, a powerful engine for its tonnage, a rapid use of the engine and a superior steering and towing performance compared to other vessels. A car ferry is a special type of vessel combined the capability of mass transportation and inexpensive cost from the properties of a vessel and the speed and mobility from the properties of a car.
