Project Club Supply Sheet: August Arm COVER Tuesday Club: August 5 or 6 Saturday Club: August 23

Last April we made a machine cover for our embroidery/ machine. Participants were asked to purchase extra fabric to complete the cover for the embroidery arm and a cover for the end of the machine head. There are some choices for this project:

The end cap for the machine head may be longer and the may be longer. The on the end cap may be the same color as the binding in the machine cover or a contrast as is the sample. The embroidery arm cover may have a ruffle or not. The sample does not have a ruffle around the arm.

Prior to class: If you have time, please quilt the cover piece, the strip piece that goes around the embroidery cover, and the back piece for the end cap behind the pocket. Use the same method and used for the machine head. (If you are new to class and do not know how to do this, call or email me for assistance) If you have an embroidery arm smaller than the Diamond series (Topez, Ruby, etc), measure the length from the needle to the end of the arm and add 3 inches for quilting the fabric. The width will remain the same.

Piping (construction and sewing) Making tabs. Optional: Creating ruffles for the arm cover. Pocket embroidery and construction. Binding application (Hand and machine)
