PHILADELPHIA APRIL 17 - 18, 2019 Museum of Art Day 1: April 17 Philadelphia Museum of Art

We will depart from Belmont Wednesday morning on a deluxe motor coach and travel north to the City of Brotherly Love.

Our first stop will be at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We will eat lunch and then receive a guided tour of the brand new special exhibition, The Impressionist Eye.

From PMA’s website: “Peer over the shoulder of Claude Monet, Mary Cassatt, Vincent van Gogh, and others as they make their indelible mark on canvas, paper, and bronze.”

Travelers will then have time to explore on their own including at the PMA and other nearby museums. The and the Perelman Building are both included with admission to the Philadelphia Museum of Art; each is about a 15-minute walk.

We’ll then check in at the Philadelphia Downtown Courtyard Marriott before having the rest of the evening to relax, explore, and dine on our own. Day 2: April 18 Longwood Gardens

Day 2 will begin at the hotel with a wonderful buffet breakfast before checking out and boarding the bus.

Our final stop will be at Longwood Gardens, where travelers will have lunch, shop, and see what’s in bloom. We will then make the trip back to Fredericksburg and arrive at Belmont in the late afternoon. Longwood Gardens HIGHLIGHTS:
