We operate this trip in the Remarkables Mountain Range, a stunning climbing arena which dominates the skyline of Queenstown below. Climbing in the Southern Alps requires good personal gear due to the potential weather conditions. Our focus is on having the essential clothing and equipment, whilst keeping pack weights as light as possible for your comfort and ease of travel.

We will provide all group technical equipment. You will need to come prepared with your own personal clothing and equipment. We have a range of climbing equipment and clothing available at our office in Wanaka to purchase or rent, please ensure you advise your requirements prior to your course. Learn skills based at your level. For trips originating in Queenstown, your guide will meet you at 8.30am at the base of the Remarkables Ski Field Road. Our Wanaka based trips begin with an 8.00am pick up from your accommodation.

Air New Zealand and Qantas/Jetstar provide daily services to Queenstown from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch airports. There are also direct flights from most major Australian cities.

A shuttle service operates several times daily between Queenstown and Wanaka (approximately one hour driving time and at a cost from NZ$35 each way), check Climb peaks while you learn.
