French Visa Guide to completing your Long Stay Visa Application Create an Account

• Go to https://france-visas.gouv.fr/web/us • Click on My Account in the blue box in the top right corner of the page. • Enter your information to create an account. • You will receive two emails, one containing a verification code and one containing your temporary password. (Scroll down for English instructions) • Log in and create a password. You will also create a security question. • Click “Start your visa application online” Your Plans

Print your application. • Complete the bottom of the last page in black pen. • For “Lieu et date” write the city and date you completed the application. • For “Signature” sign your full name.

If all the information in your application is correct, check this box and click Continue. Once you click Continue, you will not be able to make any changes. The OFII form is only required for students staying in France longer than 6 months, or students to would like to be able to extend their visa while in France. Most students will not need to complete this form.
