We would like to announce that our book, "Himalayan Nature and Tibetan Buddhist Culture in Arunachal Pradesh: A Study of Monpa," is published and released by the Springer publisher since 16.06.2015. It is total of 196 pages, x, with ISBN 978-4-431-55492-9.

Our co-authored book is first to systematically describe the formation and historical changes of the Monpa people’s area (Monyul) through its nature, society, culture, religion, agriculture and historically deep ties with , and the Tibetan Buddhist faith. The book focuses on the western most part of the state of Arunachal Pradesh, which is located in the northeastern part of , surrounded by the borders of , Bhutan, and Tibet (). As there are not many academically researched works on the region, our book serves as an essential guide for anyone who would like to learn about a unique geographical area of Monpa and its people.
