No. NG 22/UPG NREGS /Proposals/2013, dated 07-02-2013. ***** O R D E R: In the circumstances reported by the Chief Engineer, NREGS & NCRMP, PR, Hyderabad in the reference 2nd read above, Government after careful examination of the Proposals of the Chief Engineer, NREGS & NCRMP, PR, Hyderabad, hereby accord administrative sanction for an amount of Rs. 20221.25 lakh (Rupees Two Hundred and Two Crore Twenty One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousands only) towards 319 No of Road works as annexed to this order under Upgradation of MGNREGS for the year 2013-14 under the following component wise Head of Accounts. FOR PLAIN (Rs. 13829.65 Lakhs) MJH 2515 Other Rural Development Programme MH 196 Assistance to Zilla Parishads GH 11 Normal State Plan SH (46) Upgradation of NREGP works 310 Grants in Aid 312 Other Grants in Aid FOR SPECIAL COMPONENT PLAN (Rs. 4068.60 Lakhs) MJH 2515 Other Rural Development Programme MH 789 Special Component Plan for Scheduled Castes GH 11 Normal State Plan SH (46) Upgradation of NREGP works 310 Grants in Aid 312 Other Grants in Aid FOR TRIBAL SUB-PLAN (Rs. 2323.00 Lakhs) MJH 2515 Other Rural Development Programme MH 796 Tribal Area Sub-Plan GH 11 Normal State Plan SH (46) Upgradation of NREGP works 310 Grants in Aid 312 Other Grants in Aid 2. The Budget Provision as stated in this order is under Plan Head meant for Capital nature of works. Hence it is instructed not to execute repairs of roads, renewal of existing BT surface and new formation of roads under these sanctions. Upgradation of existing road (EARTHERN, GRAVEL or WBM) upto the level of BT Surface touching a habitation. In case any work sanctioned in this order is not satisfying these criteria, the estimate of such work shall not be accorded technical sanction and the technical sanctioning authority shall bring all such cases to the notice of the Government through the Chief Engineer, NREGS & NCRMP, Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad. 3. The Superintending Engineers, PR, concerned should inspect the road work and verify that the works sanctioned in Para 1 above is not already sanctioned/grounded/semi finished under any other grants. Any discrepancy noticed is to be brought to the notice of the higher authority immediately who will inform to Government for further necessary action. The above instructions shall be followed scrupulously. If such works as sanctioned in this GO are already grounded etc., it may deemed to have been cancelled automatically and the same may be informed to Government immediately for taking further necessary action. 4. The Chief Engineer, NREGS & NCRMP PR, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly and submit the utilization Certificates to Government soon after completion of the works in the stipulated time.
