The creations in question will generate at least €250,000 in expenditure eligible in France, or, when the overall production budget is less than €500,000, at least 50% of this overall budget. As part of this scheme, Film France is responsible for presenting its expert view of the requesting parties to the CNC committee, whether they are for temporary or definitive approvals.

DATABASE OF FILMING LOCATIONS

When searching for film sets, the production teams use a network of professional local location scouts who know the area very well and have a comprehensive photo library in their possession.

To complement this offer and to promote the public and private areas throughout the City of Marseille, Mission Cinéma regularly adds to a database of filming locations, which can be found on the “Film France” website.

This database can also be used by private owners or managers of iconic sites in the area wishing to offer their properties for use for filming.

Consulting this database is completely free of charge, as is the use of the support and advisory services offered by Mission Cinéma.
