First prizes were awarded to their Rose Garden and their Cottage Garden. The house garden was also awarded a place. To top it off the garden took out overall winner. Ray’s comment - it all comes down to hard work and not a chance to be bored.

The name Ella Hagenbach will be written in Allora’s sporting history. Just 11 years old and the youngest player in the National Hockey Championships recently held in Tasmania, Ella, who plays in the defence line, was part of the Queensland Hockey Team, that went onto win the National Title. All Australian States were represented by thirteen teams with the Queensland Team being undefeated throughout the Carnival. Ella is in Year 6 at St Patrick’s School Allora.
