Erie scored one run against Altoona starter Cam Vieaux over five innings before erupting for eight runs in the sixth to take a 9-0 lead. The Curve brought home three runs in the eighth to break up the shutout with a sac fly by Will Craig, a run scoring on an error and 2018 E.L. WESTERN STANDINGS an RBI single by Bryan Reynolds. The Harrisburg 38-34 .528 3.5 @ AKR Curve swept a rain-shortened, two-game series in Erie during their first visit in April and will return to UPMC Park one more Altoona 35-32 .522 4.0 @ ERI time immediately after the Eastern League All-Star Break. WORKING OVERTIME: Today the Curve play the fifth and sixth games in a span of 10 games in seven days, starting last Tuesday. It is the second of three double-headers the Curve play in a week. Overall, the Curve are playing the fourth of 22 BROADCAST INFORMATION games scheduled in 19 days heading into the Eastern League All-Star Break, which begins on July 9. REYNOLDS ON A RUN: OutfielderBryan Reynolds has at least one hit in nine of his last ten games, batting .368 (14/38) with six doubles, one homer (a grand slam) and nine RBIs in that stretch. He has driven in a run in three straight games and has at least one RBI in six of his last eight games. Reynolds missed seven weeks with a left wrist injury and was activated from the disabled list on May 29. Trey Wilson, Nate Bowen and Garett Mansfield RETURN OF THE JIN-DE: Catcher Jin-De Jhang is currently on a season-best nine-game hitting streak since May 31, during which he has hit .441 (15/34) with a homer, three doubles and five RBIs with three three-hit games. After missing the start will call the action of the 2018 season on of the season with an injury for the second straight year, Jhang joined the Curve on May 14.
