Dr. Gail Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in compliance for National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 and other federal and state laws. Her work has included studies in archaeology, history, and American Indian issues for numerous projects in hydroelectric power, energy, natural resource, industrial, transportation, military, commercial, and residential developments. Dr. Thompson has supervised and conducted background research, field inventory, evaluation of eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places, determination of project effects, and development of management and mitigation measures. She has conducted workshops for agencies and industries in improving tribal relations and assisted with tribal consultation.
