Industry Artists Your Workshop Instructors are: Anthony Trahearn Megan King Rowen Hawkins Danny Coates

Anthony Trahearn Anthony Trahearn is one of the UK’s most established commercial dancers with over 15 years experience in the professional dance industry, his credits include performing and touring with leading pop artists such as The Pussy Cat Dolls, , Sade, Duffy, Cheryl Cole, , , , , , The Saturdays, JLS, Kimberly Wyatt, Dame Shirley Bassey, Dannii Minogue, Sir Cliff Richard, Sophie Ellis Bextor and . 2014 saw him tour with girl band ‘The Saturdays’, dancing on both seasons of ‘ Tour’ and choreographing a short film, ‘The Opponent’, which was aired on . Working with such artists has enabled him to perform all over the world from Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Puerto Rico, Dubai, Moscow, Sochi, Nevada, Geneva, Budapest, Miami, Rome, Niagara Falls, Leon and Barcelona amongst his ports of call.

Anthony is also a featured dancer on the worldwide smash Playstation Game “Dance Star Party'. As a featured lead with notable projects such as: incorporate Xbox Guitar Hero (worldwide) commercial, Axwell’s "I Found You" music video and the award winning 'Running Man' music video - Utah Saints’ "Something Good". On the choreographic front, Anthony has assisted many established choreographers on varied projects. Highlights include working on the hit films ‘I Give It A Year’, ‘Cuban Fury’ and ‘The Worlds End’, working in Moscow for 5 months on 2 hit TV shows, the ‘Thriller’ UK Tour 2009, award winning commercial 'Britvic Drench', Virgin Trains TV commercial 2014 and a number of UK cinema premieres.

To compliment his practical career, Anthony also has a BA Hons (2:1) degree in Theatre from Studio Centre and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dance Science from leading institution Laban. He has taught dance students in some of London’s leading institutions as well as putting on workshops in Moscow, Russia and Antalya, Turkey. Megan King

Graduated from Elmhurst School for Dance with a National Diploma in professional dance. During her graduate year she performed with The Royal Ballet, performances of which include: Swan Lake (Birmingham Hippodrome and Chrysler Hall in Virginia, USA), The Dance House and Slaughter on 10th (South of England tour). Megan performed with Japan International Youth Ballet including performances of La Bayadere and the pas de deux from Coppelia Act III. She has also performed in Swan Lake with The English National Ballet (The , London). Megan danced as part of the ballet chorus in the Premiere and Olivier award winning production Les Vêpres Siciliennes with The Royal Opera (The Royal Opera House, London) and again in the revival with The Danish National Opera in Copenhagen.

Megan has not only worked as a classical dancer but also in musical theatre with credits such as: The Queen , Cunard line, The Snowman cast as the ‘Ice Princess’ at The Peacock Theatre in the West End, London and in various theatres around the UK. Megan has also toured Germany In 'Best of Musical Starnights' and most recently performed in 'Thursford Spectcular'

Rowen Hawkins

An incredibly versatile dancer with skills ranging from Hip Hop, Locking, Popping, Breaking, House, Whacking, Freestyle, Commercial, Acrobatics, Contemporary and Jazz. Rowen has worked in a spectrum of mediums from TV, film and theatre working with artists such as: N Dubz, Rhianna, Alesha Dixon, Cheryl Cole, Girls Aloud, V, Jamelia, Danni Minogue, Diagram of the Heart, and Mutya Beuna. TV/Film credits include: , BBC, ITV, CD:UK, , Comic Relief, , MOBOs, MTV European Awards, Sky, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Britain’s , Popworld, Channel 4. Theatre credits include: Into the Hoods- ZooNation Dance Company, Blaze, Bounce the Streetdance Sensation – Bounce. Rowen trained at the prestigious London Studio Centre in a range of styles from classical ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap. During his final year, he toured with the ‘Intoto’ contemporary dance company. Rowen has over 15 years of professional industry experience and is a highly respected artist.

Danny Coates

Originally from Southport, Merseyside. Danny was awarded a scholarship at the prestigious London Studio Centre, training rigorously in classical ballet, tap, contemporary dance, acting, singing, jazz dance, pas de deux, stage fighting, choreography and vocal technique. Danny has worked on West End UK Tours, cruise ships, professional pantomimes, choreographed, company managed and performed such roles as Sonny in Grease and young Elvis in Elvis. A few other credits include: Pulse 8 (London Oratory), Design for Dance (Cochrane Theatre, London), Showcase (Criterion Theatre, London), Aspects of Dance (Hackney Empire, London), Tribute to Lever Brothers (Queen Elizabeth Hall, London), Snow White and the Seven dwarfs (Derngate, Northampton / Fairfields, Croydon / Hippodrome, Bristol), Aladdin (Kings Theatre, Edinburgh), Sleeping Beauty (Kings Theatre, ), West End UK Tour of Chicago, playing the role of Fred Casely as well as understudying and performing the principle role of Amos, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers performing a featured role as Brother Benjamin and a training and alignment video for DANCE UK. During his career he has worked internationally with artists such as: Jennifer Ellison, Paul O’Grady, Susan McFadden, Anita Dobson, Brian May, Roy Walker, Robert Powell, Kid Creole, Martin Daniels, Ian Kelsey and Jim Davidson to name a few.
