YOUNG PARENTS GROUP – WEDNESDAY 12.00 – 3.00pm The group is run by our Family Worker and the Family Worker from Pastures Way Nursery and Children’s Centre. Young parents between the ages of fifteen to twenty two years are welcome with their children as well as those who are pregnant. The parents are supported by two mentors from Greenhouse Mentoring who are able to offer extra support. A weekly activity program offers opportunities for personal development including education, health advice, and information from the Children’s Centre partners. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to become involved in the running of the sessions. Whilst attending the group parents can make new friendships and support each other, and are given opportunities to explore and play with their children.
