OWNERSHIP WES EDENS OWNER Wesley R. Edens is co-founder and co-chairman of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Fortress, founded in 1998, is a global investment manager with $62 billion of assets under management. Wes is primarily responsible for Fortress’s private equity business, which invests in various indus- tries including transportation, infrastructure, real estate, health care, financial services and media/entertainment. Under Wes’ leadership, Fortress has helped shape the foundation of global investments and supports innovative transportation and infrastructure projects worldwide. In addition to serving on a number of professional boards and commissions, Wes is a trustee and longtime supporter of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation and active philanthropist. He and his family established an endowed professorship at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., the Edens Professorship in Global Health, along with a research fund to focus on solving international infectious disease and environmental health hazards. The son of a Sparta, Wis.-native mother, Wes grew up in rural Montana on a ranch where he first began participating in outdoor sports and living an active lifestyle. After ski racing and playing a wide range of sports as a child, he continues his active lifestyle today by mountain climbing, run- ning and jumping horses. His interest in climbing has led Wes to scale challenging mountains around the world including the Matterhorn, the Grand Teton and Mount Kilimanjaro. Wes and his wife Lynn have four children: Ryan, Madison, Mallory and Quentin. Ryan lives in New York and works in the sports industry. Their daughters, Madison and Mallory, are both attending college. Madison has a passion for science and recently was accepted to an accelerated medical school program. Mallory is a member of her university’s cross country running team. Their youngest child, Quentin, is a sophomore in high school. Wes received a B.S. in Finance from Oregon State University. 12 OWNERSHIP INFO GENERAL FRONT OFFICE MARC LASRY OWNER PLAYERS Marc Lasry is the Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of Avenue Capital Group, a global invest- ment firm with over $13 billion of assets under management. Founded in 1995, Avenue has been a pioneer in the distress-debt market, successfully investing in debt and equity securi- ties of struggling companies across a variety of industries. Marc has said that his story personifies the American dream. Born in Morocco, he immigrated 2013-14 SEASON to the United States when he was 7 years old, with minimal financial resources. When he first attended Connecticut public schools, Marc did not speak a word of English, learning it through the news and reading his parents’ encyclopedias. The son of a computer programmer and a schoolteacher, he would go on to win a basketball scholarship at Clark University, become a lawyer and hold a clerkship with a federal bankruptcy judge before entering finance. STATS & Prior to founding Avenue, Marc co-founded Amroc Investments, LLC, and managed capital RECORDS for Amroc Investments, L.P., the predecessor firm associated with Robert M. Bass Group, Inc. In addition, Marc was co-director of the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization De- partment at Cowen & Company, and previously served as director of the Private Debt De- partment at Smith Vasiliou Management Company. Marc also held a clerkship for the Honorable Edward Ryan, former Chief Bankruptcy Judge of the Southern District of New York. HISTORY After growing up a Bucks fan following Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson, Marc is excited to help shape the future of Bucks basketball. He looks forward to bringing his back- ground as a philanthropist to greater Milwaukee and motivating the Bucks organization to give back to provide the same opportunities that were afforded him. In addition to his business success, Marc and his wife Cathy have been extremely active in NBA philanthropy. He and his wife established the chair in race relations at the University of Penn- sylvania in the School of Arts and Sciences and have also served as joint chairs of the Penn Parent Leadership Committee. The couple also funded the construction of the Lasry Center for Bioscience and the Cohen-Lasry House, home to the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, at their alma mater, Clark University. Marc currently serves on the Board of the Big Apple Circus and the 92nd Street Y, and is on the Corporate Board of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. OPPONENTS Marc has been married to his wife Cathy for 30 years and are the proud parents of five chil- dren. The couple also recently became grandparents. He received a B.A. in History from Clark University (1981) and a J.D. from New York Law School (1984). MEDIA 13 OWNERSHIP JAMIE DINAN OWNER Jamie Dinan is the founder, chairman & CEO of York Capital Management, one of the world’s most successful hedge funds. Jamie is a co-portfolio manager of York Multi-Strategy, York Credit Op- portunities, York Event-Driven UCITS funds, and York Sub-Advised '40 Act Strategy, portfolio man- ager of the York Total Return funds, and the chair of the firm's Executive Committee. The third of five children, Jamie was born in Baltimore to a textile engineer father and homemaker mother before later growing up in Worcester, Mass. Though money was tight in his youth, his par- ents focused their resources and efforts on providing education for their children. Jamie is a life- long basketball fan and has been following the Bucks since Oscar Robertson played for the team in the 1970s. He believes the team is well positioned under the new leadership of coach Jason Kidd and looks forward to a successful season. From 1985 to 1991, Jamie worked at Kellner, DiLeo & Co., where he became a general partner and was responsible for investing in risk arbitrage and special situation investments. From 1981 to 1983, he was a member of the investment banking group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. Jamie is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Museum of the City of New York and gave a $1 million donation to fund the research and development of a 25,000-square-foot mu- seum exhibit chronicling New York's history, the James G. Dinan and Elizabeth R. Miller Gallery. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors for the Hospital for Special Surgery, the nation’s pre-eminent orthopedic surgery hospital, and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. He also sits on the Harvard Business School's Board of Dean's Advisors, the Board of Trustees of the Uni- versity of Pennsylvania and The Wharton Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania. Jamie and his wife Elizabeth Miller are the parents of three children. He received a B.S. in Eco- nomics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. 14 EXECUTIVE STAFF PETER FEIGIN PRESIDENT INFO GENERAL Peter Feigin brings decades of sports, corporate management and marketing ex- perience to the Milwaukee Bucks organization, with experience both in the NBA and corporate world. His skills are the key to the organization’s securing addi- tional sponsorships, creating new community partnerships, growing its vibrant workforce and building a first-rate multi-purpose facility for the city of Milwaukee. FRONT OFFICE As the former chief marketing and revenue officer of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, Peter managed global business units and handled branding across this international entertainment com- pany. Prior to joining Deluxe, he was president and chief operating officer of Marquis Jet Partners Inc. Peter was the driving force behind Berkshire Hathaway’s NetJets acquisition of Marquis Jet in 2010 and played a central role in integrating the two companies. He then transitioned to the same responsibilities at NetJets, leading the company to significant revenue growth. From 1998 to 2004, Peter worked for the New York Knicks in roles culminating in his position as vice president of mar- keting, increasing profits, season subscriptions and suite revenue during his tenure. From 1993 to PLAYERS 1998, he held sales and marketing positions with Six Flags Theme Parks, a Time Warner company at the time. Peter has served as a senior advisor to the Milwaukee Bucks since the ownership change, helping re-organize and re-focus its business operations. He has also served on the boards of The Leverage Agency, Arena Media and The Agency, all involved in sports and entertainment marketing and media. 2013-14 SEASON He and his wife Natalia have two children, Alexandra and Thomas. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and completed the University of Chicago Booth School of Busi- ness’ Financial Executive Program. STATS & THEODORE LOEHRKE RECORDS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER Theodore Loehrke begins his third season with the Bucks, with responsibility for managing and growing local revenues. In the CRO role, Loehrke oversees ticket sales and service, premium seating, marketing and digital media, corporate part- HISTORY nership development, corporate communications and business analytics. Prior to joining the Bucks, Loehrke was Senior Vice President of Team Marketing & Business Operations at the National Basketball Association (NBA). In that role, he advised NBA and NBA Development League teams on all aspects of business operations, including ticket sales, sponsorship development, customer retention, digital/social media, marketing and business ana- NBA lytics. Before entering the NBA in 2007, Loehrke managed an internal consulting and business analysis team at American Family Insurance Group in Madison, Wis., responsible for supporting the organi- zation’s corporate marketing and sales functions. The team also led the development of the industry award-winning Teen Safe Driver Program. Loehrke previously held positions at the digital agency Organic, Inc., and Deloitte Consulting, both in San Francisco.
