Tours and Cruises

ESKAYA BEACH RESORT & SPA offers tours & cruises for the many attractions in Bohol. These can be arranged upon reservation or when you are already at the resort. Transportation is provided by Eskaya. Tours by Eskaya will be governed by our Terms & Conditions, while those serviced by independent contractors or operators will be subject to their own terms & conditions.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

RESERVATIONS: To make a reservation, you may contact our Manila Office or you can make your reservations at the Front Desk at Local 2 or Operator at 0 at least 2 days before the tour.

PAYMENTS: Payments may be made at our Manila Office during reservation or at Front Desk while you are already at Eskaya. We ac- cept cash or we charge this to your Folio. Cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, subject to availability of signal of the card company. A 50 % deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All reservations must be guaranteed and are subject to a 24-Hour Cancellation Policy. If cancellation is made more than 48 hours, a 90% refund is given. If within 48 hours, a 50% refund is given. No refund is given if cancellation is made less than 24 hours. For charges included in the Folio, refunds will be processed during billing. Tours may be cancelled & refunded 100% if cancellation is due to acts of God or Force Majeure. Such conditions are inclement weather, typhoon, earthquake & flood. Other conditions are strikes, acts or threats of terrorism & other conditions beyond control. No refund on any tour can be made after departure.

CHANGES/REVISIONS: Once a booking has been made, all changes like change of dates are subject to a minimal Php500 charge per change.

CHANGE OF ITINERARIES, PRICE INCREASES: Itineraries are subject to change and may need to be altered or cancelled. All prices shown in this brochure are subject to change with or without prior notice. Adjustments for currency and/or gas fuel fluctuations may apply. However, tour charges will not be changed once deposit payment has been received. Optional excursions/tours, drinks, beverages, meals & services not included in the package are additional costs to the tour participant.

CANCELLED OR DELAYED TOURS OR CRUISES: Eskaya reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel a tour/cruise or to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, or in the judgment of the independent tour operator, conditions warrant it. CHIL- DREN/MINORS: Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

DISABLED TOUR PARTICIPANTS: Handicapped or physically challenged tour participants must be accompanied with a responsible adult since Eskaya does not provide a companion for this extra service. However, if there are available companions from our staff, we can service the disabled for Php800 per companion per tour.

INDEPENDENT OPERATORS: The resort does not assume any responsibility or liability for acts of omission or negligence of independent operators or contractors. The resort will not provide provisions or amenities during tours serviced by independent operators.

RESPONSIBILITY: Eskaya is not liable for any injury, damages, or any inconvenience brought about by causes beyond its control. Such causes are occasional road defects, road repairs, no show of dolphins, etc. Eskaya is released from any and all claims for loss or dam- age to baggage or property or from personal injuries or death, or from loss or delay, arising out of the acts, omissions or negligence of any independent contractors, such as transportation providers, medical personnel or other providers of services or facilities. All arrange-ments made for tour participants with independent contractors, including medical services, are made solely for convenience to partici-pants and are done at the participant’s own risk.

ACTS OF GOD & OTHER CONDITIONS BEYOND CONTROL: Neither Eskaya nor the owners or operators of any vessels, craft, coaches, or other means of conveyance or any facilities identified shall be liable for delay or inability to perform any condition in this brochure or any part thereof caused by inclement weather, typhoon, earthquake, floods. Other causes are strikes, acts or threats of terrorism, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond their control. A tour participant may cancel or postpone the tour to another time due to the above conditions. Refunds will be made during billing.

REFUSAL OF PASSAGE: Eskaya shall not be required to refund any amount paid by any tour participant who must leave the tour prema- turely for any reason, nor shall Eskaya or the owners or independent operators of transportation be responsible for any expense incurred by such tour participant other than those agreed in the reservation.

TIPPING: This is the prerogative of the tour participant. Gratuities are not included in the prices of tours.
