 East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is dedicated to producing better services that cost less.  I am the kind of Conservative who puts their back into helping the local community.  My professional career as a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology has resulted in my concerned focus on the welfare of the sick and elderly in our community. I will work to ensure that the provision of health and social care in East Sussex is the best in the country.  I will continue to lobby ESCC and it’s Officers to enhance the provision of health and wellbeing for our rapidly ageing population.

I have lived in Staplecross for the past 10 years and have also been a District Councillor. I understand strong local community loyalties and interests.

Sometimes we seem a long way from County Hall, but I believe in a grass roots culture where local concerns are taken to county council by the efforts of the councillor.

From May 2017 with your support, I will campaign for ✓ Pothole repairs and road resurfacing ✓ Better broadband for hard to reach areas ✓ Better bus timetabling ✓ Cutting speeds on country roads ✓ Support for the rural economy ✓ Affordable housing for local people

To achieve this we have fought hard for resources and used them wisely. We have protected quality services for the vulnerable, grown the economy and enabled citizens to help themselves.
