Here are some guidelines to ensure that your experience is a pleasant one:

 Do not wear your badge when leaving the hotel on your own time (e.g. dining out). This marks you as an out-of-towner. Carry your wallet and purse carefully. Use a taxi service whenever possible. Try to go out at night with others.

 Do not leave valuables in your hotel room—on your desk, nightstand, in drawers or on the dresser. If you believe that something is missing from your hotel room, please contact hotel security immediately.

 Be sure to familiarize yourself with the hotel exits in the common areas of the hotel, as well as on your guest room floor. Review the recommended safety procedures that are posted in your room in case of an emergency.

 Contact hotel security if any serious health problem arises or if you are in need of a physician.

 If you lose your room key, please be sure to bring a photo ID to the front desk in order to receive a replacement.
